other与theother的区别

1、意思不同。other：另外，其他。the other：另一个。

2、用法不同。other：other用作形容词作“别的，其他的，另外的”解时，常用来修饰复数名词或不可数名词，如前面有this，that，some，any，each，every，no，none，one等词时，也可用来修饰单数名词。the other：the other用于两者之间，指特定的某人或某物之外的“另一个”“剩下的”。

3、侧重点不同。other：other+名词＝ others。the other：指两者中一个。
